After a long afternoon of shopping on Avenue Montaigne, there was still some time before the evening meeting.

Back at the hotel, she slipped into something lighter, settled by the pool, and let the warm afternoon slow everything down.

The invitation was safely tucked away, tomorrow could wait, and for a little while, all that mattered was the quiet sound of the water.
